Description and Cultural Information for the Texas Russet Norkotah Strains (.pdf)

Licensees and Contact Information (.pdf)

These strains of Russet Norkotah were selected for adaptations to the Texas environment. Selection was targeted at superior vine strength, Verticillium tolerance, and yield potential.

Advantages over Standard Russet Norkotah: Higher yields, early dying resistance, bigger/stronger vines, lower fertilizer needs, better weed competition, better hail and heat stress resistance, higher percentage of larger tubers.
